Last night, St. Mary’s PS was delighted to host a workshop on Emotional Resilience, delivered by behavioural consultant Shannon Hollywood.
The session was highly engaging and informative. Shannon supported parents in having a better understanding of their children’s behaviour, strengthening connections at home and reflecting on the differences between how we were raised and how children are being raised today. She highlighted the importance of nurturing emotional development in ways that build resilience as our children grow into adulthood.
A heartfelt thankyou to Friends of Cabragh—especially Claire McKillion for her invaluable support in organising this wonderful event for parents and Ails Cullinan Keown for helping to bring Shannon to our school. We are truly grateful for their time, effort and commitment.
There was certainly plenty of valuable insight shared throughout the evening—lots of ideas and food for thought for us all.
