Start of Year School Mass

This morning, we marked the beginning of the school year with a beautiful and meaningful Mass.
To celebrate life in our school, we began by presenting a selection of symbolic gifts: a photograph of all the children, a Bible, a healthy lunchbox, the school candle, a football jersey, and a poster representing our HEART values.

A huge congratulations to all the children for their exemplary behaviour in the chapel.
Well done to our wonderful readers and pupils who carried up gifts and the offertory procession.
A special thank you to the talented musicians and choir led by Mrs McCann and accompanied by Ciara McGinley.

I would also like to extend my heartfelt thanks to all the parents who joined us for the Mass today and to everyone who has made me feel so warmly welcomed into the St. Mary’s and wider Killeeshil community.
