Grace brought her tin whistle to school as her Show & Tell piece at the end of March..
Grace began learning to play the tin whistle earlier this year. She takes lessons every week and already has a booklet full of tunes that she can play.
Grace explained that notes are made when you blow into the whistle and only certain holes are covered.
Grace said that you need to learn and practice because moving your fingers quickly can be tricky.
She played a few tunes for us, and we were very impressed. Our favourite tune was ‘Dawning of the day’.
