Relax Kids

Dear Parent/Guardian,

We look forward to welcoming Paula McGilligan from Relax Kids back to St Mary’s on Thursday 15th September 2022. We have secured funding and are happy to let you know that P1-4 will have the opportunity to take part in the Relax Kids programme. 

What is Relax Kids?
Relax Kids supports your children’s mental and emotional health and wellbeing with a range of tools and techniques to help calm their body and mind and build confidence and self-esteem. Relax Kids use a pioneering 7-step whole-brain holistic approach (see image below) and fun, magical and creative techniques to help your children feel happier and healthier. 

Please find below the Relax Kids affirmation calendar for September.   This can be printed off and placed somewhere often seen. Parents often stick to the fridge door and the child says the positive affirmation every morning before school… a lovely positive habit! This is a nice way to keep the 7 steps of Relax kids alive throughout the week.
