Primary 6 had an amazing day at the Armagh Planetarium. First, our students created their own water rockets using a range of materials. We then launched these into the air, soaring through the sky. After this, we enjoyed the dome cinema experience. We journeyed through space, exploring each planet – all projected onto the dome shaped roof. We even experienced a space rollercoaster! Finally, we got to experience the space exhibition. We tried on astronaut helmets and enjoyed some of the wonderful smells of space – which weren’t the most pleasant. Everyone had a wonderful day and will surely be eager to share their adventures.
