Primary Two had quite a shock when they arrived into the classroom this morning.
They discovered a letter, some clue investigation sheets and some magnifying glasses.
The letter was from Beaky the Parrot, telling them that Pirate Pete had been pushed overboard their ship and he wanted their help to figure out which other pirate had committed the crime!
When we all went out to our ship we were shocked and amazed to find some clues.
Primary 2 put on their detective hats and followed the clues to find out more about the culprit who committed the crime. We discovered some popcorn packets, some flowers and even some footprints!
When we had finished examining the crime scene, we had to decide what the pirate liked to eat, what he liked to smell and what he may have looked like!
We kept track of all the clues we found to help us solve the problem of who pushed Pirate Pete overboard. We also used the evidence to create a ‘Wanted’ Poster, to try and capture the culprit Pirate!
We then placed the posters around the school as we wanted everyone to get involved and solve the crime!
