This week P4 were very busy planting their pea and cucumber seeds.
We chose bio-degradable planting pots so that they can be set into the earth later.
Now we just water, wait and check on our developing plants!
P4 have enjoyed taking their learning outdoors and are developing lots of new skills! Getting outside and into nature has given the children the opportunity to learn in a hands-on way. The children are learning about the world and seasons around them while gaining a greater understanding of the journey their food takes before it reaches their plates.
Gardening is a great way of bringing the curriculum alive, it helps to get children outdoors in the fresh air and improves their wellbeing.
