P6 Cycling Proficiency
Over the past six weeks, our Primary 6 pupils have been hard at work developing their cycling skills and road safety awareness through a comprehensive Cycling Proficiency Course. With great enthusiasm and determination, the children have learned how to ride safely and confidently in real-world situations.
Throughout the course, pupils mastered a range of essential cycling manoeuvres, including how to check if a bike is safe to ride, mount and dismount safely, overtake parked vehicles, and make safe turns from main roads onto side roads. They also learned how to navigate traffic lights, recognise important road signs, and understand the rules of the road.
To round off their training, the children took part in a cycling quiz—demonstrating their knowledge with flying colours! We are incredibly proud to announce that every pupil who took part passed and has been awarded their Cycling Proficiency Certificate.
Well done, Primary 6—you are now officially ready for the road!
