P6 have had an exciting and busy start to the year.
We discussed our class promises, how we behave and treat others and we all completed the promise by stamping our fingerprint and signing our name.
We combined art and ICT to create our 'Get to know us' masterpieces.
We have also jumped into our P6 maths curriculum with some fun lessons on place value, using Lego even working with numbers up to one million.
We have had some calm time to relax at yoga with Rebecca, which we really enjoyed.
Our new topic 'It's a Disaster' was introduced with a carousel where we generated questions that we would like answered about different areas.
Finally, we had our first science lesson, were we worked in groups to complete a fair test, to see what makes the best paper helicopter.
