P5 Remote Learning 12th-16th October

This week P5 have been learning from home. The pupils have been interacting with each other and submitting work daily through Google Classroom.

This was a challenging week but our Primary 5 pupils have impressed Mr Ball greatly with the quality of their work and their attitude to working from home.

On Wednesday, the pupils completed an ‘Autumn Maths Investigation’ at home. The children recorded a tally of different objects in their garden linked to Autumn, such as different coloured leaves, twigs and pinecones. The pupils had to predict whether this number would be greater or less in 30 days. Then, the pupils used the objects that they found to make shapes and spell their name.

On Friday, the pupils took part in two separate PE Challenges, a fitness challenge and a skills challenge. The pupil were getting active and incorporating mathematical skills of recording and drawing tables for their scores, as well as exploring the topic of time.

Finally, the pupils completed some fantastic Halloween themed artwork from home. The artwork is a great display of creativity and hard work.

Well done to all in Primary 5!
