Primary 3 have been learning all about non fiction texts and all about the features of writing instructions.
The children were learning how the snake sheds it's skin. They watched a video and were reading flow diagrams. The children had the opportunity to feel a real snake skin and a snake skin that had been shed and compare the two. This mini topic about snakes will capture the children's interest in nature and encourage them to research and find out more.
