On Thursday, we held our prize-giving ceremony to celebrate the achievements of our recent Sports Day. It was a great opportunity to recognise not only the winners, but the importance of taking part and trying your best, as competing is just as valuable as winning.
Our P5, P6 and P7 pupils were recognised for their efforts, enthusiasm and excellent sporting spirit shown during the event.
Throughout Sports Day, the children clearly demonstrated our HEART values in action. There was a real sense of happiness as pupils enjoyed taking part and celebrated each other’s successes. They showed great respect for teammates, opponents and staff, while fantastic teamwork was evident as they encouraged and supported one another in every event. Their ambition shone through as they all tried their very best and challenged themselves to succeed, recognising the importance of participation as well as achievement.
It was a wonderful opportunity to celebrate their achievements, and we are very proud of everyone!
