Today we held a "Green Day" in St. Mary's to celebrate St. Patrick's Day. The children came to school dressed in green and took part in a range of St. Patrick's Day art and craft activities. The children had lots of fun making leprechaun masks, finding out about St. Patrick and creating beautiful St. Patrick stained glass pictures.

As you know St. Mary's has a great tradition of music and usually at this time of year we would all gather in the School Assembly Hall for a St. Patrick's Day Concert. Sadly this year, all our children, the school choir, the traditional music group and Irish dancers have not been able to come together to perform and celebrate St. Patrick's Day as a whole school community. So this year, we are doing things a little differently and bringing our St. Patrick Day's celebrations to you! We hope you enjoy watching our P1-3 Virtual St. Patrick's Day Concert.
Don't forget to join Killeeshil Community Centre tomorrow for their St. Patrick's Day celebration! The amazing talent of many of our pupils, will also be showcased tomorrow, in the Community Centre's St. Patrick's Day Virtual Concert!
It has been brilliant having our P1-3s back! The smiles on the children's faces and the happy sound of children's voices around school again has been music to all our ears!
We are so excited and so looking forward to welcoming P4-7 back to school on Monday 22nd March! We have missed all the children so much!
