Recognizing and celebrating the many differences among people is an important part of growing up.
Each of us has our own identity, ideas, likes and dislikes. We should be so proud to know that there is no-one else in the whole wide world the same as us. We are each UNIQUE.
We looked at images of creations by a Japanese artist, Yayoi Kusama.
Yayoi is known as 'the princess of polka dots.'
Using her style, we each created our own UNIQUE HAND OF FRIENDSHIP.
