Friends of Cabragh Secures Funding to Deliver Exciting STEM Projects for Pupils
30th Nov 2025
Friends of Cabragh are delighted to announce a new funded project, thanks to The James Kane Foundation.
These essential STEM resources will allow all pupils to engage in exciting projects that spark curiosity and inspire future careers. They’ll develop thinking skills, personal capabilities, creativity and teamwork while solving problems and communicating effectively.
Michael Wilson, Chair of The James Kane Foundation said "The James Kane Foundation is committed to advancing education, skills, and career opportunities, and are delighted to support this initiative. Last year, the Board agreed a new strategic approach to our future funding commitments, which has come to fruition today with the announcement of exciting projects such as this. We look forward hearing how this work will positively impact young people as they navigate an increasingly complex and rapidly changing employment landscape. We wish them the best of luck."
The James Kane Foundation have agreed to support 22 projects across Northern Ireland with funding, including this one, following an open grants programme earlier this year. This amounts to three-quarters of a million pounds in direct interventions. The Foundation will soon open a second grants programme.
