Discovering Rhythm with Djembe Drums!

Our pupils enjoyed an energetic and engaging djembe drumming session kindly led by our EA Percussion Tutor, Gordy Cobain. Gordy introduced the children to traditional West African drumming techniques and guided them as they learned to beat different triple rhythmic patterns. The session was filled with enthusiasm, teamwork and lots of lively music-making, giving the children a memorable hands?on experience with percussion.
