Confirmation
Last night we celebrated the Sacrament of Confirmation—a special occasion as our P7 pupils welcomed the Holy Spirit and deepened their relationship with God.
The faith at the heart of our school community continues to shine through in the kindness our children show one another, the support of our families and parish, and the unwavering dedication of our staff.
We offer our sincere thanks to Bishop Router and Fr. Hannigan for confirming our children.
We are also grateful to our school choir, who—along with Aimee Molloy—were led by Joanne Reihill and accompanied by Plunkett McGartland, and to our talented P7 traditional group under Marie McCormack’s guidance. Their music truly lifted the celebration.
The chapel looked beautiful last night. Thank you to Rosina and Siobhan for the stunning floral arrangements and to Rhonda for preparing the altar. We were also delighted to have five of our past pupils serving so reverently on the altar for the occasion.
Special appreciation goes to Mr Dermot Morrow, Mrs Michelle Wallace, and Mr Ryan McElroy for their work preparing the children—much of which happens quietly behind the scenes.
And to our P7 Confirmandi—you were amazing. We are incredibly proud of each and every one of you.
May the Holy Spirit fill your lives with courage, joy and wisdom in the years ahead.
Congratulations to all and thank you for making this such a wonderful parish celebration!
