A Day to Remember: Celebrating Mrs. Quinn and Mrs. Kelly’s Retirement!
Today St. Mary's came alive with colour, laughter, and joy as we celebrated the incredible careers of Mrs. Quinn, our dedicated school principal, and Mrs. Kelly, our esteemed P2 teacher. Their retirement was marked with a day full of fun, that truly reflected the love and admiration our school community has for them.
The highlight of the day was undoubtedly the Colour Run! Pupils, teachers and classroom assistants dashed through clouds of vibrant powder, turning the school track into a rainbow of excitement. Cheers echoed as everyone crossed the finish line covered in bright hues, smiling from ear to ear. It was a perfect symbol of the joy and energy Mrs. Quinn and Mrs. Kelly brought to our school every day.
Adding to the fun were the three bouncy castles, which transformed the pitch. The fun was contagious, and even a few teachers couldn’t resist joining in! The children enjoyed their drinks and crisps and danced to the beats of the music!
The celebration was a beautiful blend of fun and gratitude. It was a fitting farewell to two great women who have shaped the hearts and minds of so many. As they step into retirement, we know they’ll carry with them the love of an entire school community.
