Catholic Schools Week 2026 - A Call to Holiness Through Prayer
Every morning in our school, we all gather together in the assembly hall for our morning prayers—a truly meaningful and uplifting way to begin the day. It is always quite moving to hear all the children, including our P1 and P2 pupils, saying their prayers with such reverence and respect.
This shared time of prayer allows us to praise God and invite His presence into our lives. It also offers each of us a quiet moment to pause, regulate, and reflect on the day ahead, helping us approach our work with calmness and intention.
Morning prayer not only centres our thoughts and strengthens our spiritual focus, but it also deepens our sense of community and togetherness, as the whole school stands united in one place and with one purpose.
It is a lovely, cherished and very important tradition in St. Mary’s, Cabragh.
