Bug Club Fun!
Our after-school Bug Club has been full of excitement, curiosity and teamwork!
The children explored the fascinating world of mini beasts, learning about different types of bugs before heading out on a bug hunt around the school grounds. They were super excited to discover bees, woodlice, flies and even beautiful butterflies!
The fun didn’t stop there – they designed and painted their very own bug hotel, then set off on a mission to collect ‘furniture’ for it, gathering grass, twigs, sticks and leaves. Working together, they carefully chose the perfect spot in our playground to place their hotel and create a welcoming home for their tiny visitors.
To finish, the children got creative making their own bug headbands and enjoyed voting for their favourite bug.
