As a follow on to our visit to Palace Stables where we learned about apples, we decided to take a closer look (and taste) at some apple varieties.
We had several varieties to taste test.
Children were asked to rate each variety for its Texture/ Taste/ Scent/ Overall appearance
The children were very discerning in terms of the language offered to describe taste and texture.
They witnessed how a single variety of apple could have a range of different opinions. This only proved the point that as we are all different how we smell, taste or even rate food items also is different.
The many pictures attached, have captured the meaningful engagement of our P4 children.
