What a fantastic week we've had in P1!
We started by creating our Class Charter, agreeing on the rules that help us all feel safe and happy in our classroom.
In literacy, we focused on building our fine motor skills and explored rhyming words through fun activities.
In numeracy, we practiced making sets of objects. Working in pairs was a big hit—we loved creating our own sets together!
As part of our topic, A Time of Rhyme, we received a special mission from Humpty Dumpty! He needed our help to find the best material to land on if he fell off the wall. We tested different materials like pom-poms, feathers, stones, and cubes. Our investigation showed that soft materials kept Humpty safe, while hard ones caused him to crack!
In PE, we stretched and moved with 'Squish the Fish' yoga from the Cosmic Kids programme—it was a great way to stay active and have fun!
