Dear Parents and Carers,

I hope this message finds you and your families well.

It is with great joy and a deep sense of responsibility that I introduce myself as the newly appointed Principal of St. Mary’s Primary School, Cabragh. I feel truly honoured to be given the opportunity to lead such a wonderful school community and I am excited to begin this journey with you.

At the heart of my vision is a commitment to ensuring that every child receives the highest quality education in a safe, supportive and nurturing environment. I believe that strong partnerships between home and school are key to helping our children thrive and I look forward to working closely with you to support each child’s learning and wellbeing.

One of my priorities is to continue building on the strong sense of community that is so evident at St. Mary’s and throughout the wider Killeeshil area. I deeply value open communication and collaboration and I am committed to fostering a school culture where every voice is heard and every family feels welcome.

Our curriculum will remain broad, balanced and inclusive—designed to meet the unique needs and talents of every child. I am passionate about nurturing a lifelong love of learning, both within and beyond the classroom and I look forward to continuing the school’s proud tradition of sport, music and creativity.

As we begin this new chapter together, I warmly welcome your thoughts, ideas and support. Parents and carers play a vital role in the life of our school, and I am eager to work in partnership with you to ensure the very best outcomes for all our children.

Finally, I would like to take this opportunity to extend my heartfelt thanks and best wishes to both Mrs Louise Quinn and Mrs Eilis Kelly as they begin their well-earned retirements. Their many years of dedication and service have left a lasting legacy and they will be greatly missed by all.

Thank you for entrusting your children to us. I am truly excited about the future and confident that, together, we can make a meaningful and lasting difference in the lives of our children.
