P6 Remote Learning

Well done to our super P6 class on all their hard work and dedication to their online learning so far. The work produced has been fantastic and we are all so proud of you!

We have included some samples of the amazing work completed in the video below. Some of the areas we have been learning about include:

Numeracy- Area and perimeter, where the boys and girls in P6 created their own robots and monsters which they were then able to find the perimeter and area of. P6 have also been exploring Time and getting creative with making their own clocks.

Literacy- Becoming familiar with and analysing the features of newspaper articles, they have been completing comprehension activities along with some spelling, punctuation and grammar work.

World Around Us- ‘It’s a Disaster’ topic with the current focus on the Titanic. Check out all the wonderful Titanic models and drawings that have been produced at home.

Religion- Catholic Schools’ Week and St. Brigid’s Day.

PDMU- Children’s Mental Health Week and exploring what makes us special, unique and happy.

PE- Having fun whilst improving our fitness and skills.
