Primary 4 pupils shared a session of clay modelling with local artist Shauna Nelson.
The children used clay to create base plates and added a cross to this base. Further mark making and the addition of detail resulted in a variety of beautiful hand crafted plaques.
These plaques will dry out, and in a few weeks Shauna will return these to school for further work.
We all agreed it was a memorable experience—exciting and rewarding for some, while offering valuable challenges and growth opportunities for others.
